Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Lead Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds of our golf courses. You will perform daily maintenance tasks and support the supervisor with cup locations, teeing ground stations, and course cleanliness.

The role requires 1-2 years of groundskeeping experience, leadership aspiration, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. You will work outdoors in varying weather, operate mowers and irrigation as directed, and help ensure safe, well-kept playing surfaces.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of groundskeeping experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) encouraged.
• Leadership experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Change cup locations on greens daily or as directed by supervisor.
• Service all teeing ground stations on course to include: move markers.
• Sand/seed divots from prior day's play; remove trash from receptacles.
• Maintain ball-washers, water and soap; monitor trash on course; clean restrooms.
• Operate vehicles used for daily bunker raking; mow small turf areas with push/power mowers.
• Apply irrigation to the golf course as directed by supervisor.

Job Summary

• The Lead Groundskeeper maintains the grounds of the golf courses.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Change cup locations on all greens daily or as directed by the supervisor
• Service all teeing ground stations on course to include:
• Move markers
• Sand/seed divots from the prior day's play
• Remove broken tees
• Remove trash from receptacles
• Maintain ball-washers water and soap
• Police trash from the golf course during daily travel
• Monitor traffic control devices on the golf course- ropes, stakes, and directional signs
• Clean and stock restrooms
• Pick up leaves, trash, and cut grass and place onto a truck or trailer
• Operate various vehicles used to perform daily bunker raking activities, including power raking and hand raking
• Mow small turf areas using small push power mowers
• Apply irrigation to a golf course as directed by a supervisor

Education And Experience

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• 1-2 years in groundskeeping work
• Leadership experience desired

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Regular light lifting up to 20 pounds
• Regular exposure to outside environment, including rain, cold, sun, or night
• Especially Repetitive movement- twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping, standing, walking, sitting

Work Environment

• Primarily works outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels

Compensation Pay Range

$21 - $24
