Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain and improve site grounds at our New Jersey location. You will mow, trim, edge, and assist with seasonal snow removal, applying sustainability guidelines and using power landscape equipment.

Candidates should have prior groundskeeping or horticulture experience and a valid non-commercial driver's license. Aramark offers medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off; benefits vary by location.

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping or horticulture experience preferred.
• Valid non-commercial driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of groundskeeping principles and power landscape equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Exposure to extreme weather and elements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve facility grounds per sustainability guidelines.
• Apply planned designs to address landscaping needs.
• Planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, raking, salting, snow removal.
• Operate equipment: mowers, saws, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, sprayers.
• May operate trucks/tractors used to maintain grounds.
• Clean and upkeep sidewalks, driveways, parking lots.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on lawn tools.
• Adhere to safety policies and report malfunctions.
