Job summary

Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast in Bay St. Louis, MS is seeking a groundskeeper to maintain turf, beds, trees and landscape features across the property. You will operate mowers, trimmers, carts and other equipment, plant and prune, and assist with special projects and events.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift heavy weights, and a valid driver's license. High school diploma or GED preferred; weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.

Responsibilities

• Operate weed eater, edger, mower, chainsaw, and other equipment for turf and bed care.
• Caring for trees, plants, shrubs; pruning and planting.
• Weeding, watering, mulching, trenching for beds and ponds.
• Chemical application for pest and weed control.
• Onsite trash and debris collection.
• Operate motorized cart.
• Assist on special projects and events.
• Work as a team within Golf Department and other departments as needed.
• Maintain friendly, helpful demeanor with customers and team members.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or management.
