About Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Position Summary

Assists in maintaining the synthetic turf sports field, The Home Depot Backyard, and stadium grounds.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Participates in operation and care of field and grounds equipment.
2. Performs general grounds maintenance around Mercedes Benz Stadium.
3. Assists with pre- and post-game field maintenance.
4. Participates in sports field maintenance tasks such as mowing, grooming, painting, and field layout.
5. Assists with inclement weather readiness and response.
6. Performs related duties as required and assists other departments as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn and operate grounds maintenance equipment.
• Physical ability to lift 30+ pounds and stand for long periods.
• Experience in groundskeeping or field painting is preferred but not required.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of natural and synthetic grass maintenance.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in sports turf maintenance.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Phone, grounds equipment, radio, vehicles, and related tools.

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing and walking; ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
