Job summary

Legends Global in Lansing, MI, is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain greens, tees, and surrounding grounds, ensuring playability and safety for guests. The role supports daily golf operations with attention to turf, landscape, and course features to the highest standards.

You'll work outdoors year-round, follow safety guidelines, and collaborate with a team to prepare courses for events and tournaments. Experience in groundskeeping is preferred; on-site work is required.

Qualifications

THE ROLE

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, playability, and safety of the golf course and surrounding grounds. This role supports daily golf operations by ensuring turf, landscaping, and course features are maintained to high standards that enhance the guest experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and practice areas
• Assist with mowing, aeration, fertilization, and irrigation
• Rake and maintain bunkers
• Trim landscaping and natural areas
• Operate and maintain grounds equipment safely
• Identify and report maintenance or safety issues
• Assist with course setup and tournament preparation
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education And/Or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred but not required

Compensation

Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience, and discounted golf privileges.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: On Site (Golf Course)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating equipment for extended periods.
