Job summary

Prairie Highlands Golf Club in Olathe, Kansas is seeking a full-time, hourly Course Maintenance I to join our Agronomy team. The role includes assisting with daily course maintenance, bunkers, greens, tees, fairways and roughs, and operating small machinery.

Pay rate is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, PTO and holiday pay. Applicants should have a high school education or equivalent and be able to work varying hours.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparing the course for daily play.
• Rake the bunkers.
• Cut and trim golf course greens, tees, fairways and roughs.
• Assists with watering the roughs.
• Cuts grass and trims weeds using hand mower or power driven mower and trimmer.
• Plants grass, trees, shrubs or flowers as instructed.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetation.
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery for edging, trimming and mowing.
• Delivers drinking water on course.
• Performs general labor and cleaning related to maintenance equipment.
• Regular attendance and safety adherence.
