Job summary

Larksfield Place in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain turf, plantings, and outdoor spaces for a not-for-profit senior living community. This full-time role supports residents by keeping grounds safe, tidy, and welcoming throughout all seasons.

You will operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation support, help with snow removal, and follow safety procedures. Prior groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred; a valid Kansas driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of horticulture and landscaping tools.
• Must be organized, reliable, and safety-focused.
• Valid Kansas driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain turf, shrubs, flower beds, and trees through mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
• Keep sidewalks, courtyards, and outdoor areas clean and free of debris
• Assist with seasonal tasks including snow/ice removal and leaf cleanup
• Apply herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers as directed
• Maintain and support irrigation systems
• Assist with grounds-related work orders, outdoor event setup, and other special projects
• Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards or damaged equipment
