Job summary

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in using landscaping tools safely.

Responsibilities

Description

The Groundskeeper position is a full-time, hourly position requiring a flexible schedule including occasional evening and weekend work. As with all positions at Carrollwood Farms, the Groundskeeper may be called upon to work in areas outside of the immediate area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• routine landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, pruning, planting, weeding, mulching, and snow management
• operate and maintain a variety of landscaping equipment, including hand tools (loppers, saws, shovels) and power equipment, including lawn mowers, skid steers, gators, and small tractors, to supportgrounds maintenance and landscaping tasks.

Requirements

A willingness to work hard. Good, positive attitude. Flexible schedule. A "no job is too small mindset." Excellent time and project management skills. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and twist. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, and 50 lbs regularly. Must be able to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time. Occasionally work during the rain.
