Job summary

Trinity University in Texas is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain campus grounds, perform mowing, trimming, leaf removal and general landscaping. The role uses power equipment and requires reliable attendance and good customer service.

Candidates must have a valid Texas driver’s license, pass a criminal background check and physical exam; bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus. Prior lawn care experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Mows, trims, waters and maintains campus grounds.
• Operates power equipment such as mowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers.
• Picks up campus litter and empties trash receptacles.
• Cleans parking garages and lots; performs basic maintenance as needed.
• Assists with ice cleanup and storm debris cleanup; supports other services as needed.

Performs relatively simple, semi-skilled duties which include litter picking, trash and debris removal, sweeping sidewalks and courtyards, leaf removal, mulching, mowing, other general landscaping maintenance, uses hand and power equipment and tools.JOB DUTIESMows, trims, waters and provides general campus grounds maintenance, as needed.
