Job summary

John Knox Village in Florida is hiring a Grounds Keeper I for a full-time role on a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00am–3:30pm, located in Pompano Beach. The position supports maintenance of the 70-acre campus and the overall grounds.

The candidate should have grounds keeping experience and be able to operate a lawn mower and golf cart, with the ability to lift 50+ lbs and respond to urgent situations as needed.

Job description

Grounds Keeper I

John Knox Village is seeking an experienced and dedicated Grounds keeper I on a full-time basis to maintain and ensure that the grounds are in the best possible condition at all times. This Full time position will be from Monday- Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.

As a Grounds Leader, you will be responsible for the following

1. Responsible for raking.
2. Available for all assets, equipment, edger, blower etc..
3. Responsible for policing grounds for trash.
4. Assist Plant Operations as needed.

• Must be able to drive a lawn mower and a golf cart.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Respond to urgent situations when needed.
