Job summary

Global Connections to Employment, Inc. is seeking a Groundskeeper to perform ground and lawn maintenance tasks under the direction of the Project Manager. The role may include indoor custodial support as needed and duties across multiple locations.

Candidates should have at least one year of related experience, the ability to understand instructions, and strong customer-friendly interaction with staff and clients. Willingness to learn all job aspects is essential.

Overview

The Groundskeeper is responsible for safely performing ground and lawn maintenance duties as assigned by the Project Manager. Quality service is expected to be provided to customers at all times. Knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job as it pertains to this position. The position also requires necessary assistance for custodial duties indoors, as needed, and/or assigned by the Project Manager.

Physical Requirements

May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. May work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours as well as weekends and holidays.

While performing this job's duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds. Will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
