Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team in the Coraopolis, PA area. You will perform groundskeeping duties, from mowing and mulching to snow removal, ensuring safe, attractive outdoor spaces for our community programs.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience with lawn, tree, and shrub maintenance, operates basic power equipment, and can work independently in outdoor conditions while holding a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 full year of groundskeeping experience.
• Knowledge of lawn, soil, tree, and bush maintenance.
• Able to be exposed to outdoor environmental conditions for long periods.
• Able to operate power equipment including bucket loader.
• Work independently and stay self-motivated.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Mow, mulch, tending flower beds, rake leaves, trim small trees and bushes, and snow removal.
• Perform minor repairs to walks and parking lots.
• May apply pesticides when required.
• Clean and perform minor adjustments to grounds equipment.
• Assist with off-season small jobs such as painting and other tasks from Supervisor.
