Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper for Canyon View in Utah. You will maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, parking lots, and improve curb appeal while delivering excellent resident service.

Responsibilities include trash removal, market-ready unit prep, exterior cleaning, snow removal, and reporting safety issues promptly. Join a team that values professionalism, safety, and meticulous upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
• Assist in preparation of market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies such as snow removal and inclement weather events.
• Clean available apartments, model homes and common areas as directed.
• Address maintenance concerns related to weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining high cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Report maintenance and life-safety issues promptly.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and other properties.
• Other duties as assigned

Salary: $19 to $21 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm plus on-call rotation

About The Groundskeeper Position

We’re looking for a talented groundskeeper who will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, tour path, parking lots and other areas of the assigned property, with maximization of the property’s marketing appeal with the highest level of customer satisfaction in mind.

• Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
• Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods.
• Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed.
• Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always.
• Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies.
• Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties.
• Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents at all times.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required.

• Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.
