Job summary

The RMR Group LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the property grounds, exteriors, common areas, sidewalks and alleyways in a clean and safe condition. You will assist in other maintenance tasks when necessary and support on-call maintenance during emergencies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months related experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license and a team-oriented, proactive approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 to 3 months related on the job experience or training.
• Must be well organized and a self-starter.
• Perform general maintenance repair tasks professionally without endangering yourself, residents or fellow associate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Must be team oriented and a problem solver.
• Maintain professional appearance and manner at all times.
• May be required to work extended periods of time without relief, when responding to priority/emergency situations.
• Stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pump, tools, ladders) and ability to safely install rigging/lifting device.
• Lift and carry objects of up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 30 feet.
• Climb ladders and stairs.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Mobility and flexibility to use ladders to heights in excess of 8 to 9 feet.
