Job summary

Power Brace Manufacturing in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a dependable Groundskeeper to maintain the facility grounds and help ensure a clean, safe work environment for employees and customers.

Requirements include at least 1 year of groundskeeping or landscaping experience, the ability to perform manual labor in various weather, and knowledge of basic gardening practices. Shift is 8 hours, Monday through Friday, with benefits included.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance and upkeep of the manufacturing facility grounds.
• Mow, trim, fertilize, mulch and other landscaping tasks.
• Remove trash, debris, snow and ice from grounds and parking lots.
• Paint and power wash buildings and signage as needed.
• Operate and maintain lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, shovels, and related equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to supervisor.
• Work independently or as part of a team as required.

• You will be responsible for the upkeep and appearance of our manufacturing facility.
• You will perform tasks such as mowing, trimming, fertilizing, mulching, and other landscaping.
• You will also remove trash, debris, snow, and ice from the grounds and parking lots.
• You will paint and power wash the buildings and signage as necessary.
• You will operate and maintain various tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, shovels, rakes, and other powered equipment.
• You will follow safety procedures and report any hazards or damages to the supervisor.
• You will work independently or as part of a team, depending on the needs of the day.
