Job summary

Power Brace Manufacturing is seeking a dependable groundskeeper in Des Moines, IA. You will maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the plant grounds and surrounding areas, ensuring a safe and orderly work environment.

Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, mulching, and equipment operation, with a focus on safety and reliability. The role runs Monday through Friday with an 8-hour shift and offers benefits such as health, dental, and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• At least one year of groundskeeping or landscaping experience.
• Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of basic gardening and landscaping practices.
• Skills to operate and maintain tools safely and efficiently.

Join our team and help us maintain a clean and safe environment for our employees and customers. As a groundskeeper:

• You will be responsible for the upkeep and appearance of our manufacturing facility.
• You will perform tasks such as mowing, trimming, fertilizing, mulching, and other landscaping.
• You will also remove trash, debris, snow, and ice from the grounds and parking lots.
• You will paint and power wash the buildings and signage as necessary.
• You will operate and maintain various tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, shovels, rakes, and other powered equipment.
• You will follow safety procedures and report any hazards or damages to the supervisor.
• You will work independently or as part of a team, depending on the needs of the day.

Salary Information
