Trinity Health in Georgia’s Athens area is seeking a maintenance worker responsible for assigned departmental maintenance needs and grounds upkeep. The role includes basic electrical and mechanical repairs, and ensuring the appearance of lawns, shrubs, plant beds, parking lots, and entrances to support a safe, healing environment for patients, families, and employees.

Typical schedule is Mon-Fri, 7:30am–4pm. A high school diploma or GED is required, and previous maintenance experience is a plus.

Description:

This position assumes responsibility for and responds to assigned departmental maintenance needs. Maintains the appearance of the facility grounds including lawns, shrubs, plant beds, parking lots, entrances, etc. Assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of the hospital in good repair. Other duties may include electrical work, mechanical repairs and other duties relating to maintenance.

Assist in the maintenance of all SMHCS grounds in order to provide a safe; clean; and healing environment for patients; families; and employees.
