Job summary

Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is seeking a Grounds Supervisor to oversee daily grounds maintenance for multiple properties. This working supervisor role requires hands-on tasks, staff coordination, and adherence to safety standards. You will report to a Grounds Manager and supervise crews including leads and groundskeepers.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and 3 years of groundskeeping experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Experience in lawn equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Three years of commercial groundskeeping or landscape experience with one year in a lead or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise grounds maintenance crews to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on daily priorities, assignments, and performance.
  • Hands-on grounds tasks including operating lawn care equipment.
  • Ensure safety training and procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate daily activities, staffing, and resources.
  • Track inventory and orders for grounds equipment and supplies.
  • Support hiring and training staff; manage performance evaluations.
  • Promote safety policies and continuous program improvements.
  • Deliver equipment, materials, and supplies to locations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
