City of South Fulton is seeking a maintenance worker to perform routine park and facility upkeep. Duties include landscaping, custodial tasks, and light construction/repairs, with some event support. A valid driver’s license and at least 1 year of related experience are required.
The role involves operating various tools, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety procedures in an outdoor, sometimes demanding environment. There may be evenings, weekends, and special events.
Pay/Salary: $20.80
This classification conducts various routine and semi-skilled maintenance tasks at City parks and recreational facilities.
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary.
Requires a high school diploma or GED. (We verify education through the State board of education)
Must have
one (1) year of verifiable work experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, custodial, or related field.
It requires a valid state drivers license with an acceptable driving history.
