Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, WV is hiring for a full-time Flex Year Round Maintenance role. Start date is immediate; on-mountain housing is available. Pay is $15.25 per hour and schedule may require early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

You will maintain resort common areas, perform safety inspections, operate groundskeeping equipment, and assist with construction and snow removal. Eligible after 30 days, with benefits; enjoy on-mountain perks like free skiing and store discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or related maintenance work.
• Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment safely.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resort common areas, grounds, walkways, steps, plazas, parking areas and roadways.
• Perform daily inspections and submit work orders for billing and compliance.
• Operate equipment safely, follow procedures and report hazards.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to guests and staff; perform groundskeeping tasks.
• Maintain equipment and assist with construction projects and landscaping tasks.
• Ensure proper signage is in place by painting and setting signs.
• Perform snow removal and ice control using hand tools and machines.
• Contribute to team efforts and perform additional duties as assigned.

• This is a Full Time Flex Year Round Position(9-11 months)

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain resort common areas, grounds, walkways, steps, plazas, parking areas, and roadways (landscaping, hardscaping, maintenance, snow removal, ice control, trash removal)
• Perform daily inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety of common areas Keep detailed records of work performed and submit work orders for billing and compliance
• Operate equipment safely, follow all safety procedures, and report hazards Monitor inventory and supplies, inform Manager/Supervisor of needs Attend training and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Provide friendly, efficient service to guests and staff Perform groundskeeping tasks: mowing, weeding, pruning, mulching, and applying chemicals Maintain equipment and assist with construction projects (preparing soil, sodding, seeding)
• Ensure proper signage by painting and setting signs
• Perform snow removal and ice control using hand tools, snow blowers, and chemicals
• Contribute to team efforts and perform additional duties as assigned

Driving

• Have a valid Driver's license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program

Preferred Experience

• 6-12 months in a related role
