Job summary

SST Direct in Greenville, NC is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic field crew. The role covers mowing, weed control and debris removal on construction sites, with a company truck provided for local travel.

You will work Monday through Friday, 7am to 4:30pm with overtime as needed, and you’ll enjoy paid holidays, a 401K with match, and several paid time off benefits after the first year.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with lawn care equipment and tools.
• Ability to drive a truck and trailer with demonstrated competency.
• Ability to lift items over 50 pounds.
• Self-motivated and capable of meeting weekly site targets.
• Willing to work outside in all seasons.
• Basic mechanical skills relevant to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Cut grass and spray weeds to maintain sites.
• Remove debris; cut branches and trim as needed.
• Operate company truck and provided equipment.
• Travel to job sites; weekends may be required.

DIRECT HIRE: An awesome opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team.

Location:

Greenville, NC.

Hourly Range:

$20hr - $26hr (+OT)

Base Schedule:

M-F, 7am - 4:30pm (OT inclusive), weekends as needed

Requirements:

• Basic experience with working with lawn care equipment, tools and accessories
• Must be able to drive a truck and trailer (will be required to prove competency prior to employment)
• Must have the ability to pick up items over 50 pounds
• Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to meet a set number of job sites each week
• Must be willing to work outside throughout all seasons
• Basic mechanical stills are required
• Must be local to the Greensboro, NC. area
• You must be 21 years and older to apply

The scope of work is, but not limited to:

• A company truck and equipment will be provided
• The ability to travel is a must for this position, as well as weekend hours when necessary. If you are unable to travel or work weekends, you should NOT apply.
