Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 3 years of maintenance grounds/craft experience or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and environmental issues.
• Ability to operate grounds/craft equipment and read technical manuals and MSDS.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleanup at job end; operates power sweeper for lots and courts; removes debris.
• Reviews work orders; estimates hours, tools, chemicals; documents results after completion.
• Maintains chain-link fencing: install, remove, repair, posts, fabric.
• Maintains concrete installations: sidewalks, driveways, patches with cold patch.
• Maintains flood irrigation systems and underground waterway systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and chemicals.
• Maintains playgrounds and recreational areas using tractors and mowers.
• Attends meetings to stay current on requirements and maintains licenses and certifications.
• Performs other job related duties as required.
