Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced Grounds Worker/Cleaner for a property in the Grand Rapids area. You will perform outdoor upkeep and indoor cleaning to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.

Previous janitorial or general labor experience is preferred, and you must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds. This full-time contract role offers first shift hours from 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm, 2–3 days per week, with a pay

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or general labor experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic; able to work independently.
• Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and use cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Wash walls, doors, and surfaces to maintain a clean appearance.
• Vacuum and clean hallways, common areas, and walkways.
• Maintain outside grounds by picking up trash and debris.
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the building.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, and dusting of assigned areas.
• Assist with routine facility maintenance and special cleaning projects.

Grounds Worker/Cleaner Responsibilities:

• Wash walls, doors, and other facility surfaces to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Vacuum and clean hallways, common areas, and walkways to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
• Maintain outside grounds by picking up trash, debris, and litter around the facility.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the building as needed.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting assigned work areas.
• Assist with routine facility maintenance and special cleaning projects while following safety procedures and company standards.

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift;8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm; 2-3 days/week
• $16.00-$20.00/HR

Grounds Worker/Cleaner Qualifications:
