Job summary

Garden City USD 457 is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain grounds and athletic fields at the Garden City facilities. The role includes overseeing grounds maintenance for events and activities, and supporting fellow staff to ensure safe and timely completion of tasks.

Starting date is immediate. The position is full-time with compensation at $14.75 per hour, reporting to Grounds Supervisor. Citizenship or work authorization is required.

Job Description

The job of Groundskeeper is done for the purpose/s of providing grounds maintenance at assigned site; ensuring an attractive and safe grounds area/s and athletic fields; performing a variety of special grounds maintenance operations; overseeing grounds maintenance for assemblies, events and/or recreational activities; overseeing and supporting assigned groundskeepers in the performance of their assignments; and ensuring that assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner.

Performs other duties as assigned.

This job reports to Grounds Supervisor.
