Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a Grounds Crew member to maintain the medical center grounds on a weekly rotation. The work is outside, noisy, and dirty, and candidates must be in good physical condition and able to adjust to a flexible schedule.

Education of a high school diploma is preferred; 2 years of lawn care experience is preferred, and mechanical and leadership abilities are valued. The position offers comprehensive benefits and full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscapes at Hamilton-owned properties; outdoor, noisy and dirty work. Flexible schedule and good physical condition required.
• Work is performed outside under varying weather conditions and may include a heavy workload.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Grounds Crew Supervisor and Grounds Crew Lead Individual performs assigned landscape and lawn maintenance to ensure all Hamilton owned properties are maintained on a weekly rotation. Individual maintains the grounds of the medical center and other medical center owned buildings. Individual work is outside, noisy and dirty. Individual may be required to work a flexible work schedule. The work is moderately heavy. Individual must be in top physical condition. Individual must be able to adjust to changing tasks.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school graduate preferred but not required. Must be able to interpret and follow oral and written instructions.

Licensure : NA

Experience: 2 years of experience in care of lawn, shrubbery, hedge and trees preferred.

Skills: Mechanical ability and leadership ability.
