Job summary

Oxford Valley Golf Course is seeking a part-time Facility Maintenance Team Member to keep the course and clubhouse in top condition. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, irrigation maintenance, sand trap care, and daily course setup for play.

You will also handle cleaning, safety, and guest services in a fast-paced environment. The role supports a maintenance department focused on quality and guest satisfaction, with duties across grounds, clubhouse, and seasonal tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowing equipment to maintain fairways, greens, tees, and roughs.
• Perform trimming around trees, bunkers, and obstacles.
• Assist with irrigation system installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Rake and maintain sand traps to keep them in good condition.
• Set up the course for daily play: move tee markers, replace divots, repair ball marks, ensure hazard markers are in place.
• Plant, trim, and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers around the course and clubhouse.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of groundskeeping equipment.
• Apply pesticides and herbicides following safety protocols.
• Assist with leaf cleanup and seasonal tasks.
• Monitor for spills and clean as needed.
• Clean all floor surfaces and glass in facility.
• Clean, restock, and maintain bathrooms.
• Clean guest seating and lobby area.
• Facility trash removal.
• Assist other departments as necessary.
• Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by management.
• Provide courteous service to guests with answers and directions.

Position Summary

The Facility Maintenance Team Member will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and health of the golf course grounds and clubhouse. This includes performing various tasks to ensure the clubhouse and course are in top condition for golfers, including mowing, trimming, irrigation, landscaping, and minor repairs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Operate various types of mowing equipment to maintain fairways, greens, tees, and roughs
• Perform trimming around trees, bunkers, and other obstacles
• Assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of the irrigation system to ensure proper watering of all course areas
• Rake and maintain sand traps to ensure they are in good playing condition
• Assist in setting up the course for daily play, including moving tee markers, replacing divots, repairing ball marks, and ensuring hazard markers are in place
• Plant, trim, and maintain trees, shrubs, and flowers around the golf course and club facilities
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of groundskeeping equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely
• Apply pesticides and herbicides as needed, following all safety protocols and regulations
• Assist with leaf cleanup and other seasonal tasks as required
• Monitor for spills throughout the facility and clean as needed
• Clean all floor surfaces and glass in facility
• Clean, restock, and maintain all bathrooms: toilets, sinks, floors, etc.
• Clean all guest seating and lobby area
• Facility trash removal
• Assist other departments as necessary
• Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management
• Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests with answers and directions as needed
• Have general knowledge regarding program options and facility events
• Be responsive to guest concerns and direct to appropriate Manager to resolve

Working Conditions And Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions
• Facility has intermittent noise
• Will be required to operate a computer
• Must be able to walk intermittently
• Must be able to successfully complete our Utility Vehicle training program

Salary: $14 - $16 per hour
