Job summary

Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort is seeking a maintenance associate to keep buildings and surrounding facilities in good condition while delivering customer service to guests. Duties include parking area cleaning, trash removal, stairwell sweeps, ashtray maintenance, and portapotty cleaning with proper safety practices.

Qualifications include a high school education or related experience; a California Class C driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school education; or up to one month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Remove debris from parking structures, lots, roadways and assigned areas.
• Empty trash cans in parking structures and lots.
• Sweep and mop stairwells.
• Remove ashtrays debris and ensure ashtrays are clean.
• Check and supply remotely located security stations (e.g., water cups).
• Fuel portable lighting assemblies and check fluid levels under supervision.
• Maintain portapotties: clean, balance chemicals, sterilize, stock supplies.
• Transfer debris to refuse compactor and sort recyclables.
• Use cleaning equipment and fluids to remove oils and grease from parking areas.
• Conduct vehicle equipment inspections and complete Vehicle Condition Reports.
• Operate street sweeper and other cleaning equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Overview

Maintains Jackson Rancheria buildings and surrounding facilities in an orderly condition by performing the following duties while providing customer service to Jackson Rancheria internal and external guests.

Responsibilities

• Remove debris from parking structures, parking lots, roadways and other areas assigned.
• Empty trash cans in parking structures and lots.
• Sweep and mop stairwells.
• Remove ashtrays debris and ensure ashtrays are clean.
• Check and supply remotely located security stations i.e.; water cups, etc
• Fuel portable lighting assemblies and check fluid levels; under proper supervision.
• Portapottys-Perform the following duties with proper safety attire and under proper supervision.
• Ensure that portapottys are clean and that proper amount of chemicals solutions are in units, fluids are at proper level, sterilize units, stock with suitable paper products.
• Transfer debris from loading docks I, II, III to refuse compactor and identify recycle materials and deposit into proper locations.
• Use proper equipment fluids and supplies to remove oils and grease from parking structures and parking lots i.e.; portable pressure washers, pressure washer tanks and scrubbers.
• Conduct daily/weekly vehicle equipment inspection under proper supervision as required and complete Vehicle Condition Reports.
• Operate street sweeper and other cleaning equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Required to perform this job:

• Ca. Class C driver’s license required -must be vehicle insurable through JRCR’s Agent

Pay range: $21.00 - $27.30 per hour

*Shift Differential:Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
