Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson to assist in gathering brush, feeding woodchipper, and keeping work areas safe from hazards. The role requires operating chainsaw, herbicide application, and equipment maintenance in various weather conditions.

We offer a full-time, non-exempt position with competitive pay and a benefits package including health and retirement plans. CDL is required, and pre-employment screenings apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Gather and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Apply chemical herbicide to right-of-way.
• Utilize hose and spray nozzle to treat remote areas.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
• Assists in mixing herbicide.
• Work on unlevel ground around hazardous equipment and debris.
• Work in all temperatures and weather, exposed to nature and insects.
