Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson to assist in gathering and feeding brush and debris into a woodchipper and to monitor surroundings to prevent hazards. The role includes maintaining equipment and materials and following safety protocols on site.

Responsibilities include operating a chainsaw, feeding brush into the wood chipper, and ensuring vehicles and equipment are kept in good, clean condition. A valid driver's license is required and pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years-of-age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Entry-level position, no experience required.

Previous experience a plus.
