Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking a CDL Groundperson for utility line clearance in Richmond, VA. This on-site role supports crew members, handles traffic control, and assists with cutting, chipping and cleanup on job sites.

Required: CDL with air brake endorsement and a high school diploma; pesticide/herbicide licenses and ISA Tree Worker certification preferred or willingness to obtain. We offer PTO, holidays, health plan, 401(k) with company match and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• REQUIRED: Commercial driver's license with airbrake endorsement.
• Certificates and Licenses if necessary.
• Pesticide license, if required by state law.
• Herbicide license a plus.
• Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines.
• ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain.
