Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson to assist in gathering and feeding brush and debris into a woodchipper while scanning work areas for hazards. This role also maintains equipment and supplies and supports crew safety on site.

The position may require travel for storm work and offers opportunities to learn hands-on in a tree-trimming environment. A valid driver's license is required and pre-employment screening may be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must be able to travel for storm work.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Upon offer, employees may be required to pass pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check.
• Driver's License Required.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into woodchipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
