Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson to support crews in feeding brush and debris into a woodchipper while maintaining safety in the work area. The role includes scanning for trip hazards and keeping equipment and materials in proper order.

The position is entry-level; high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and some pre-employment checks may apply. A driver's license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years-of-age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Pre-Screen: may be required to pass drug screen, background and/or MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
