Job summary

The Groundperson role with Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is a hands-on position in our field crews in Michigan. The role involves safely operating a chainsaw to cut brush, feed material into a wood chipper, and perform basic vehicle and equipment service. You will work in outdoor environments and help keep the work area clear of hazards while following safety protocols.

Entry-level with no required experience; a high school diploma is preferred. A valid driver’s license is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Driver's License preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
