Job summary

SP+ is seeking a maintenance-focused team member to keep parking facilities and holding lots clean, safe, and well-maintained. The role requires working outdoors in varying conditions and quickly addressing minor repairs and safety concerns.

You will support fellow staff and customers, with additional duties as assigned. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement options, with eligibility per company policy.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
• License: Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record, if required to drive a company vehicle or on company business.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing maintenance services for holding lot and facilities to ensure a safe, clean and environmentally friendly working environmental for all personnel and authorized participants. Individual must be able to perform with minimum supervision.

• Maintain daily cleanliness (e.g. sweep and mop floors, empty trash and clean surfaces) of all facilities, including:
  • Primary and secondary building structures at holding lot
  • Holding lot restrooms (clean, service and disinfect)
  • Driver rest area and offices
  • Holding lot parking / queuing / circulation areas
• Maintain grounds, including:
  • Clearing snow
  • Trimming shrubbery and grass
  • Sanding or salting, as necessary during inclement weather
• Identify minor facility repairs including fixture / bulb replacements
• Advise Supervisor of any facility maintenance and safety related issues
• Occasionally perform cleaning and maintenance services at Terminal booth areas;
• Courteously assist fellow workers and customers
• Complete other duties as assigned

The employee is also frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. In addition, the employee is required to of twist, turn, stretch, and bend on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly. The employee must be able to move in a relatively quick manner. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to withstand working with dust, chemicals and other possible irritants and work in extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat).

Salary Range: $15.36 per hour
