Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. in Los Angeles invites rising engineers to join a 12-week Ground Software internship. You will work as an integrated member of a satellite software team, contribute to design, development, and deployment of the software that operates our spacecraft, and own a scoped project under mentoring.

We welcome students graduating Fall 2027 or Spring 2028 pursuing BS or MS, with a strong grasp of software architecture and experience with Rust, C/C++, and Vue or React.

Qualifications

• Graduating in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
• Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in related field
• Strong understanding of software architecture
• Experience with Rust, C/C++ for backend, Vue or React for frontend is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and deployment of the software that operates our satellites.
• Work can include owning a scoped project and tackling meaningful tickets across the ground software stack.
