Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson to assist in gathering, feeding brush and debris into a woodchipper, and to monitor area safety for coworkers. The role also involves routine upkeep of equipment and materials to ensure smooth operations.

The position requires operating chainsaw, assisting with debris feeding, and keeping tools and vehicles in good working order. An 18+ age minimum is required, with a high school diploma preferred and entry-level status available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Pre-Screen: drug screen, background and/or MVR check may be required.
• Driver's License preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
