Job summary

Alliance Ground International in San Diego, CA, seeks Ramp Supervisors to lead flights and ensure safe, timely ground handling. You will supervise agents, mentor staff, and coordinate inbound and outbound aircraft, baggage, cargo, and aircraft cabins between flights.

Responsibilities

• Supervise agents and leads on each shift to ensure procedures are followed in a safe, efficient manner.
• Mentor and coach agents and leads and conduct on-the-job training.
• Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate.
• Transport, load and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail.
• Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies.
• Operate heavy equipment to move luggage and cargo, tow planes between gates, and refill water tanks and lavatories.
• Be on time, be prepared, and be safe.
• Assist with creating and managing the staffing schedule to ensure adequate coverage for each flight.
