Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Groundperson in Salisbury, NC to assist in clearing brush and debris and to feed material into a woodchipper while keeping work areas safe and organized. The role involves assisting with equipment maintenance and ensuring teams stay clear of travel paths.

The position is entry-level, requiring 18+ years of age, with high school diploma preferred. Pre-employment screenings may apply and a valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Must be 18 years-of-age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
