Job summary

Auria is seeking a Ground C2 Systems Engineer to support the MCTSSA Data Management and Cybersecurity Services. This is an onsite role at Camp Pendleton MCTSSA Secure Compound for the Marine Corps initiative, delivering 24/7 global support for C5ISR systems and testing activities.

The role requires 5 years of systems engineering experience, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and an active Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years’ experience as a systems engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship
  • Two (2) years’ experience performing engineering, software development, testing, or system administration of Ground C2 systems such as JTCW, TCS, GCCS, TSOA, CHE, CDN, JBC-P, or MCH.
  • Experience in project management, configuration management and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and provides guidance to teams in the provision of technical support and expertise for test, engineering, and training efforts related to Ground C2 systems such as JTCW, TCS, GCCS, TSOA, CHE, CDN, JBC-P, or MCH.
  • Defines, organizes, and assigns activities to accomplish engineering and testing efforts.
  • Provides technical mentoring to individuals and teams.
  • Develops, integrates, and implements solutions to diverse, highly complex technical problems across multiple areas and disciplines.
  • Develops, reviews, writes, or provides technical input to technical test and engineering documents.
  • Develops and presents briefings as required. Documents technical status, progress, and problems encountered during test and engineering events.
  • Interacts independently and proactively with customers to identify and define complex problems and to develop and implement strategies or techniques for resolving technical issues.
  • Works with customers to evaluate and analyze technical requirements and test objectives to develop plans to test these requirements and objectives.
  • Identifies, plans, allocates, and optimizes resources to complete multiple project related tasks and goals.
  • Manages and maintains equipment and configurations in the test and engineering labs.
  • Effectively accomplishes multiple project goals within established guidelines.

Auriais looking to hire a Ground C2 Systems Engineerto support the MCTSSA Data Management and Cybersecurity Services.This role is 100% Onsite, Camp Pendleton MCTSSA Secure Compound.

Support of the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity, which provides 24/7 global technical support for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems; and conducts engineering, testing and evaluation, and supports experimentation on C5I systems and amphibious platforms to inform acquisition decisions and make the Fleet Marine Force (FMF) more capable.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
  • Five (5) years’ experience as a systems engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship
  • Two (2) years’ experience performing engineering, software development, testing, or system administration of Ground C2 systems such as JTCW, TCS, GCCS, TSOA, CHE, CDN, JBC-P, or MCH.
  • Experience in project management, configuration management and quality control procedures.

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
  • Experience administering VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server Operating Systems.
  • Experience in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing and switching.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
PAY TRANSPARENCY:

The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $115,000 - $125,000.
