Bartlett Tree Experts in Sheffield, MA is hiring an Arborist Ground Person to support pruning, rigging, and tree removal operations in outdoor environments. You will learn on-the-job under supervision, safely handling equipment and following strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Experience in arboriculture or related outdoor labor is preferred but not required.
• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn on-the-job to safely perform pruning, rigging, cabling, and removal of hazardous trees.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Follow work zone safety procedures and company safety policies.
• Assist Arborist Climbers and Crew Leaders on ground and aloft.
• Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties.
• Possess a valid driver's license and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team.
