As a Grossing Technician you will be instrumental in providing a variety of support functions in our dermatopathology laboratory and responsible for supporting a multi-site dermatology practice. This individual delivers safe and accurate lab services, including but not limited to measuring, inking, describing, and macroscopic tissue sectioning. This technician must demonstrate reliable clinical practices in a histology laboratory setting and compliance with Lab-related regulations. This position will be responsible for ensuring lab support is appropriately met by performing the following duties:
Minimum of two years of related laboratory experience as a technician, preferably in a physician practice or ambulatory environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction. We will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
Medical office, procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
