Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to manage grooming operations and lead a team of groomers. You will deliver expert grooming services while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and maintaining salon standards.

Lead scheduling, coaching, and performance, while driving salon growth and maintaining safety and cleanliness. This role offers competitive pay and benefits within a dynamic pet-care environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a professional groomer.
• 1–2 years’ experience in salon management (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of various dog breeds, grooming requirements and behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations and scheduling.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise grooming staff, provide coaching and evaluations.
• Create efficient grooming schedules to maximize capacity and meet demand.
• Monitor salon revenue, customer satisfaction and partner productivity; develop improvement plans.
• Collaborate with store management to achieve sales targets and grooming objectives.
• Perform expert grooming services per pet parent’s instructions and breed standards.
