Job summary

Petco is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to manage salon operations and lead grooming staff. You will deliver expert grooming services, coach a team of groomers, and ensure outstanding customer experiences for pet parents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a professional groomer and/or completion of a technical grooming training program.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a track record of team development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with pet parents and staff.
• Ability to manage salon operations, scheduling, and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations, optimize schedules and capacity.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise grooming staff and provide coaching and evaluations.
• Create efficient grooming schedules to maximize productivity and meet demand.
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction, and staff performance; implement improvement plans.
• Collaborate with store management to achieve salon targets and profitability.
• Provide expert grooming services and ensure safety and well-being of all pets.
