Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader in California. You will lead grooming salon operations, manage the salon team, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction while delivering expert grooming services for pets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a professional groomer and/or completion of a technical grooming training program.
• Strong leadership skills with desire to lead, train, and develop people; 1–2 years salon management experience preferred.
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills for interactions with pet parents and grooming team members.
• Expert knowledge of dog breeds, grooming requirements, and breed-specific cuts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations and staffing; optimize scheduling and capacity.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise grooming staff; provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Create efficient grooming schedules to maximize productivity and balance team availability.
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction, and team productivity; analyze data for improvement.
• Interact with pet parents to provide grooming recommendations and ensure high-quality service.
• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, cuts, and nail care.
