Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort is seeking a year-round, full-time groomer equipment technician. You will maintain all grooming machines and related shop equipment, manage records and parts inventory, and support on-hill grooming and summer procedures to help sustain operations. The role requires safety-conscious execution and teamwork.

The position offers an hourly wage of $27.00–$32.00, with benefits for eligible employees. Evening, weekend, and holiday work is expected as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Heavy machinery experience.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Grooming mechanic experience preferred.
• Hydraulic and electrical system knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all grooming machines and shop equipment.
• Record keeping, work orders, and parts inventory for all jobs.
• Assist with on-hill grooming duties and summer procedures.
• Attend staff meetings and training as required by the resort and department leaders.
• Work in a safe and appropriate manner utilizing all safety equipment provided.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Additional perks & benefits for year round employees

Responsible for the maintenance of all grooming equipment for the resort, including facilitating summer and preventative maintenance. Work closely with management in maintaining equipment to best support grooming plans. Assist with other departments and resort equipment maintenance as needed. This is a full-time year-round position. This role pays $27.00 - $32.00 an hour.
