Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company seeks a seasonal grooming operator for Snow Valley, Running Springs. You will operate grooming equipment to prepare and maintain trails, ensuring safe, high-quality surfaces for guests.

Starting wage ranges from $21.28/hr to $25.54/hr, depending on experience, with eligibility for employee discounts and other seasonal benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one years old.
• Verifiable experience in winter slope maintenance.
• Able to pass company training to operate equipment.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean record.
• Able to work second/third shifts, weekends and holidays.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for operating grooming equipment in a safe and efficient manner to prepare, pack, and rebuild trails in order to provide consistent quality surfaces for our guests.

This position is located at Snow Valley in Running Springs.

Starting wage between $21.28/hr. - $25.54/hr. depending on experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
• Must have verifiable experience in winter slope maintenance with a desire to operate snow grooming equipment
• Ability to pass the Company's training to operate equipment
• Able to read, understand, and comply with documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as record data accurately and in a timely fashion
• Ability to display a calm and collective demeanor during challenging operations
• Must have a valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Able to work flexible including second and third shifts, as well as weekends and holidays
