Destination Pet is seeking a skilled Groomer to join our Garden City team. You’ll trim, style, and maintain coats to breed standards and owner preferences, using safe handling and calm communication with clients.

With at least 2 years of grooming experience, you’ll manage time effectively, lift heavy dogs when needed, and keep your station clean and organized while enjoying a supportive, pet-loving environment with growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have professional grooming experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and handle large dogs safely.
• Two years of grooming experience required.

Responsibilities

• Snip and style pets to owner preferences or breed standards.
• Trim nails, clean ears, brush teeth, and tidy up the tail end.
• Bathing dogs and prepping with bathers as needed.
• Chat with pet parents about grooming needs and coat care.
• Keep station tidy and tools sharp.
