New Horizon Kennel, Inc. in Port Byron, IL, is seeking a Groomer for our on-site salon to provide high-quality grooming services and ensure each pet’s comfort, safety, and well-being.

You’ll be supported by our Pet Care Technicians and Client Service Specialists while focusing on grooming. Weekend availability is required, and the role offers a mix of commission-based pay with hourly pay for additional services and potential to earn $50,000+ annually.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of grooming experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll provide high-quality grooming services while ensuring each pet's comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform full grooms, including haircuts, bathing, and nail care
• Handle pets with care, patience, and professionalism
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming environment
• Sanitize and properly maintain grooming tools and equipment
• Accurately document grooming notes, communicate with the Client Services Team, and Pet Care Manager

You’ll be supported by our Pet Care Technicians and Client Service Specialists, allowing you to focus on what you do best-grooming.

Schedule

• Typically, five shifts per week (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Scheduling may vary based on business needs
• Weekend availability required
