Duties

• Perform grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, clipping, and styling, according to breed standards and customer preferences
• Assess each dog’s coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments or pet care advice
• Handle dogs safely using animal restraint techniques and ensure a stress‑free grooming experience
• Maintain the cleanliness of grooming tools, workstations, and bathing areas to uphold hygiene standards
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests and provide pet care recommendations
• Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
• Support gellow teammates as needed

Skills

• Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed‑specific cuts and styles
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling best practices
• Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is a plus, providing insight into animal health needs
• Ability to handle dogs safely using animal restraint and handling techniques
• Excellent customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and address their concerns confidently
• Experience with heavy lifting is required for managing larger dogs or equipment
• Familiarity with pet care routines, including pet sitting, animal restraint, and general animal care practices
