About this position

About Green Leaf Oakhurst

Green Leaf Oakhurst is part of Digs Dog Care, which is a premium dog care company offering DayPlay, Overnight Stays, Grooming, and Training across multiple locations nationwide. We're built on a simple belief: every pup deserves to feel safe, loved, and at home — and every team member plays a real role in making that happen. Our shared ownership program means employees don't just work here, they have a stake in it.

About the role

Groom Techs are essential to the Green Leaf grooming experience — responsible for providing safe, skilled, and attentive grooming services to every dog in our care. Groom Techs are trained in bathing, drying, and nail trims, and assist groomers with handling dogs during grooming services. This role requires genuine love for animals, a steady hand, and the ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment. Groom Techs are also cross-trained to assist with kennel and daycare duties as needed. Groom Techs maintain the cleanliness and organization of the grooming space, monitor dog health and behavior throughout each service, and communicate any concerns promptly to their supervisor. A Groom Tech embodies the Digs standard: treating every pup like family and delivering the premium, attentive care our pet parents count on.
